Zoey Luna is a brilliant young horsewoman who has a natural gift working with horses to make them accomplished hunter/jumpers for the show ring. She has the uncanny ability to assess horses and riders and develop a strong training program in which both will thrive. Zoey brings lots of positive energy to the work she does with client horses and riders in her lesson program. She helps riders develop confidence, skill, and patience, whilst still challenging them to be better. By giving horses a solid foundation in basic dressage, she develops them into superb jumpers. I have watched Zoey since March 2016 restart her now personal horse, Dracarys, from the “forgotten pasture pet” to a first-place winner in the 1.10m jumper classes. I am in awe of her riding abilities and even more impressed with her horsemanship and veterinary knowledge. Zoey takes her time when working with horses to assure they are receiving the best care and structured training program. I have very high standards of horse care and exercise conditioning, and I trust Zoey 100% to work with my horses.

Zoey has worked with two of my horses and did an amazing job with both of them!  One of the horses was an ex-race horse, bound for slaughter before I got him.  He had an old injury, so I put him in pasture for 4 years. After finding Zoey, I decided to have her train him for resales. Zoey took a track-broke 11-year-old who hadn’t been handled for four years (outside of trimming and shots) and made him into a great children’s hunter.  She also turned my 5-year-old into a great trail horse!  She is always patient and wants what is best for the horses.  I couldn’t get out to see my horses often, but Zoey always made sure I knew what was going on with them, and I always felt comfortable, knowing someone trustworthy was there for them.  I would recommend Zoey to anybody!
